This is an original song of mine that I composed around 6 years ago and only recently decided to revisit. It was actually area music for a game I made with RPG Maker. I always thought that this was one of my better and more interesting pieces, so I came back to it, hoping to improve upon its deeper, more meaningful essence. This is a song about a palace or, more aptly, an ethereal dwelling which is hidden within the trees and only presents itself to travelers very occasionally. It's meant to embody peaceful harmony and tranquility simultaneously with deep mystery, existentialism and the experience of losing oneself completely, yet willingly. I suppose this theme was partially inspired by Lothlorien, the dwelling in the golden wood from Lord of the Rings, but I deiced to give it a slightly different aesthetic. This is sort of like the green and pink cousin of gold and silver Lorien.
